He fought last year in December, winning his bout against Robert Helenius via knockout in the first round. Since then, the fans have been eager to know who the ‘Bronze Bomber’ will be fighting next. His fight against Helenius was his first fight after two consecutive losses to the reigning WBC heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury. Even though he has had his name in numerous rumors for potential fights, he is yet to make an official announcement for any fight. And even though he is not active inside the boxing ring at the moment, he knows how to keep his fans entertained.
Recently, a training clip of the 37-year-old has surfaced on the internet. And, like any other training clip of the former champion, it has caused a stir among boxing fans, who were not hesitant to share their opinion about the clip.
Elie Seckbach from ESNEWS recently took to Instagram to share a clip from one of Deontay Wilder’s training sessions. And, if there’s one thing the fans know about the 37-year-old, it’s that he doesn’t hold back even in training. And this clip is a testament to that. In the clip, Wilder is seen doing mitt work with his trainer, landing strong punches while working on his footwork as well. ‘The Bronze Bomber’s ‘ powerful punches also managed to shock his trainer, who gets taken aback by one particular punch from the former champion.
